Ben, Company president (ISO, Lean SixSigma, ESD, Safety, Supply Chain).
Ben is a certified Master Black Belt in lean six sigma, certified ISO9001 Lead auditor, and certified safety lead auditor. He holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington, a Master in Engineering Management (Industrial Engineering) from the University of Ottawa, a Masters and a PhD in Materials Science and Engineering from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester. He worked as a research scientis at IBM Almaden Research Center, the University of Minnesota, and the National Research Council. He also held positions of head of engineering, quality and reliability assurance manager, and staff engineer at various companies in the electronic, semiconductor and energy sectors. He was slected by MIT to teach graduate materials science and engineering classes at one of the universities that MIT founded overseas, where he and another professor founded the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. Ben has over 20 years of experience in quality, reliability, design, R&D, materials science, engineering, management and teachning. Ben had published over 30 papers in journals and proceedings and delivered several conference and seminar presentations
Dale, Director of Business Development
Dale is a senior level executive with extensive experience in the electronics and sensor industry. For more than twenty-years, he has led engineering teams, new business development, and manufacturing of industry leading sensors, LED lighting, and unique electromechanical systems for the industrial, commercial, and automotive industries.
In his prior position, Dale served as Business Unit Vice President for TT electronics automotive group in Dallas Texas and Juarez Mexico. He was responsible for leading the turnaround of a legacy product portfolio and the doubling of new business growth. He led the innovation, development, production of a patented inductive position sensing technology. His leadership transformed legacy engineering and manufacturing operations into streamlined world-class processes achieving production quality objectives and customer accolades.
Dale has also held positions as Director of Engineering and Business Development for AB Automotive. While at CTS Corporation, he developed a $40 million dollar safety sensor business and held positions as Director of Engineering, Project Engineer, and Electronics Design Engineer. He was a Lead Sensor Engineer at Delphi Automotive Systems. He is a certified Six-Sigma Green Belt, Shainin Red X journeyman, conference presenter, and independent consultant. He has assisted companies in the compliance and certification to industry standards ISO/TS 16949, ISO 9001:2000, and ISO14001, FMVSS, and AIAG standards.
His consulting experience includes assisting small companies in engineering & technology innovation, improving product development processes, streamlining manufacturing and quality operations, and strategic business development.
Dale has a passion for continuous improvement and mentoring others, he most recently worked with Executives in Action improving the operational productivity of the Saint Vincent de Paul’s thrift store. Giving back to the community, Dale guided a team of executives through an operational productivity improvement project using Lean Six-Sigma to achieve over $130,000 in annual savings while improving sales by 40% in the first month.
Dale received his Bachelors of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Indiana State and his Masters of Business Administration from Indiana University. Dale is a recognized electromechanical sensor expert with four patents, two trade secrets, and numerous proprietary manufacturing processes.
Laura, Business Developmengt Manager
Laura is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a process improvement enthusiast. She holds a Bachelors Degree in Hispanic literature and linguistics from SUNY-Stony Brook, as well as an MCAS (Microsoft Certified Application Specialist) certification with Master Distinction and an ITIL V3 Foundation Certification. Laura has studied thirteen languages and is fluent in English, Spanish and Dutch. Laura began her professional career in the hotel industry where she was able to use her language fluencies, writing abilities, and “lean” mentality to create effective training documentation and business process improvement projects. As a technical writer and trainer, Laura has specialized in e-learning, performance management/KPI, ADDIE instructional design model, employee development and training analysis, as well as one-on-one coaching. As a manager within a business improvement company, Laura spearheaded many campaigns and committees to correct costly supply chain issues, integrate technology with customer service initiatives and act as a liaison between her department and key account representation. Laura has been recognized for her fierce dedication and “win” mentality. She has been published four times: three times in English and once in Dutch.
Tyrone, Senior Instructor/Consultant (Lean Six Sigma, ITIL, ergonomics)
Tyrone is a senior level executive, Instructor, and very dynamic leader with an extensive amount of industry experience as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He has over 14 years of experience in Operations, Manufacturing, Software, Healthcare, Technical services, and Information Technology. He is a certified ITIL practitioner, published author, and independent consultant. His career path has afforded him the opportunity to help top leaders in identifying and driving focused organizational change efforts needed to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and business goals. His mentorship of Six-Sigma green and black belts has led to millions of dollars in savings and improved processes. Tyrone’s Lean Six-Sigma leadership experiences were honed with AT&T, Dell, Storagetek, SUN Micro systems, and EDS. Tyrone has the distinction of training Michael Dell as a Green Belt at Dell Computers along with hundreds of others through his work with the TheSixSigmaWay. Tyrone has the dual ability to provide quality expertise and to teach the methodologies needed in today’s business environment to achieve excellent results such as cost containment and improved customer relationships. Nader, Senior Instructor/Consultant (Project Management)
Certified project management professional (PMP) with expertise in design, development and delivery of training and certification programs in project management, database, networking and security industry.

Gene, Senior Instructor/Consultant (Project Management)
Gene is an Instructor/Facilitator of Project Management, Leadership and Team Leadership/Development courses. He serves as the process owner of the Project Management Initiation and Planning Workshops, which are part of the Dell/Perot Services Project Management Methodology. Gene’s responsibilities include training, development and certification of associates to facilitate these workshops. As a Charter member and instructor of the REC (PMI’s Registered Education Provider) organization, he has developed and delivered workshops throughout the United States, Ireland, Holland, India and the United Kingdom. He’s also led, developed and coordinated the New Associate – College On-Boarding Program (Rising Stars). With more than 30 years of project management experience, Gene is a PMI-certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and active member of the PMI Dallas chapter where he also teaches PM Risk classes and writes articles related to PM topics and practices. He has taught 10,000 associates in the Project Management disciplines. Best Places to Learn” in DFW for 2009. In addition, Gene has received The Business Leadership Center’s Teaching Excellence Award at the SMU Cox School of Business. At Perot Systems, and E-Systems / Raytheon, Gene managed the Hi-Reliability Microcircuit Facility. His responsibilities included development, design, production, testing and assembly of the solid state Hi-Rel devices that operated in a variety of DOD environments. He also coordinated the ISO 9000 certification effort and was coordinator of teams and team development at this 5000- associate facility. Gene holds a professional teachers certificate, as well as a Bachelors and Masters of Science in Composite Sciences and Educational Administration from Texas A&M University. He’s recognized as an “Outstanding Alumni” with numerous post – graduate certifications. Other accomplishments include: Science Teacher, Team Leader, Assistant Principal, Outdoor Learning Center developer, general contractor, physician assistant, Licensed Life and Health Insurance agent, supervision of after school and night activities in city owned recreation centers, establishment and management of thriving landscape management company, a PM Training Consultancy, shoe sales and professional commercial clown.
Orlando, Senior Instructor/Consultant (Lean Six Sigma)
Kevin, Senior Instructor/Consultant (Lean Six Sigma)
Kevin is a Senior Consultant and Instructor with TheSixSigmaWay. He is a certified Six Sigma Master Black Belt professional and a Master Lean Practitioner with many years of experience as a lean and lean six sigma instructor, consultant and practitioner. He brings over 15 years of operational experience into the classroom. He has a wide range of Lean Six Sigma project experience in industries such as manufacturing, food processing, residential and commercial construction, insurance, banking, healthcare, etc.. Kevin is a Certified Trainer through the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD). He is recognized as an effective consultant and trainer because of his down-to-earth, interactive teaching style of the Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodology. Kevin has a B.S in Industrial Technology and an M.S. in Manufacturing Technology and Management from East Carolina University.
Toby, Senior Instructor/Consultant (Safety)
Toby works on-site with manufacturing companies, providing safety training, mock OSHA audits, consulting on safety issues, and mentoring safety professionals. He is an OSHA authorized instructor for the 10 hour and 30 hour safety courses for General Industry. He carries the Certified Safety Professional designation. Before retiring in November, 2008, he was the Safety Supervisor for his last nineteen years at the 3100 employee General Motors Assembly facility in Arlington, Texas. He was responsible for all OSHA compliance issues, including safety training. Performed numerous safety audits and developed, and implemented safety directives as defined by corporate guidelines. He was responsible for design-in reviews as the internal safety consultant for a $250,000,000 plant expansion project. He has worked as a Labor Maintenance Supervisor, Labor Relations Representative, and Safety Supervisor. He is a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and has an MBA in Industrial Management from the University of Dallas.
